INVESTIGAM: FUNDERS AND OPEN SCIENCE
Open Access is defined as the practice of providing online access to scientific information at no charge to the user, in a reusable manner. Within the context of research and innovation, “scientific information” may refer to both peer-reviewed scientific research articles (published in academic journals) and research data (underlying data used for publications, stored data and/or raw data).
Open Science is a movement whose goal is to achieve the accessibility of scientific research for all people, under the premise that scientific documentation should be kept under a system with open access.
By collecting and disseminating both research publications and data under open access, Consorcio Madroño and its members demonstrate their commitment to Open Access and Open Science.
